A previous paper described the initial investigation of an interface-current formalism for performing multiple-assembly calculations within the framework of GTRAN2. Combined with a modified fundamental mode rebalance, the new method proved to be nearly five times faster than the original coding. This paper outlines the parallel implementation and the groupwise global rebalance acceleration method used in a new version of GTRAN2, called GTRAN2/M. The computing performance of GTRAN2/M appears to be excellent, with an overall speedup of 20 on four processors (compared to the original version of GTRAN2), and a parallel efficiency approaching 1000%.
