Using Lego mindstorms across the computer science curriculum

Participants will learn how to use the LEGO Mindstorms Robotics Invention System as an active-learning platform for teaching topics ranging from Programming 101 to Computer Architecture to Operating Systems to Artificial Intelligence. Participants will learn how to use Java, C/C++, and Lisp to control and program Mindstorms robots. No personal kits are required; participants will use a workshop-supplied MindStorms kit and pre-built robots.
