Development of PP for Security System on MID

Protection Profile (PP) is a document specifying the security requirements asked for an IT product by a user for the ISO/IEC 15408 evaluation, which is now being increasingly developed by lots of national organizations and companies. PP is becoming more and more important in this phase of information technology since it is a standard for the security evaluation of the IT system and products. This paper introduces a security system PP for mobile internet device (MID), the next generation computing device. The security system PP for MID defines the security and assurance requirements required of a security system. It also defines the threats and assumptions when deriving security requirements and describes the security objectives and functional requirements.
