CARTRONIC, AN ORDERING CONCEPT FOR FUTURE VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEMS
Klaus Dieterich, Wolfgang Schröder · 1998
This paper describes the CARTRONIC functional architecture concept and its application to vehicle control. The CARTRONIC architecture is comprised of elements and rules regarding the interaction of the elements. The elements of the architecture include systems, components and communication relations. The paper discusses how rules are used to structure communication relations and how structures are built using elements and rules. It also discusses modeling rules and their purpose in solving problems. The paper then discusses the application of the CARTRONIC architecture elements and structural principles to vehicle control.
