The Second-Generation Bandelet KICA-Based Digital Watermarking Algorithm

The quality of digital watermark depends on both watermark inserting and withdrawing. In order to improving the effect of the embedding of watermark, in the paper, the second generation Bandelet transform was employed in the embedding process. The Kernel Independent Component Analyzes (KICA) possess good robustness in the watermark extraction aspect, therefore, in the paper, the Kernel Independent Component Analysis (KICA) theory was introduced to the digital watermark extraction. The experimental results from different attacking on the image of the imbedded watermark has illustrated that the well-pleasing robustness can be gained from the proposed watermarking algorithm of the second-generation Bandelet based on the KICA.
