Rough Set-b\Based Medical Image Enhancement Method Research

Image enhancement algorithm based on rough set theory is proposed combining rough set theory and digital image processing technology and according to medical imaging principle. This algorithm to describe the medical image as a knowledge system uses indiscernible relation of rough set theory and the knowledge(the density dissimilarities of human organs)of medical image science to define the equivalent relations. Medical image is partitioned into sub-images for background and object, the sub-images of background and object are enhanced respectively and they are combined to form a final enhanced image. In the experiment, regard lung tissue of the chest medical image as the target area, the medical image which gets the outstanding target area enhancement. Plentiful experiments have been carried on medical image, and the contrastive analysis has been carried on the proposed enhancement algorithm with several classical algorithms. And study the distribution separation measurement(DSM), thus has confirmed the proposed enhancement algorithm is more suitable for the medical image, and it can extract contained information of the medical image more effectively than the traditional algorithm.
