Repositories as Integration Enabler for the Web.

The Web hosts increasingly more developments both content and functionality oriented. Integration is and will continue to be a major problem. In this paper we outline how description approaches might contribute to the solution. Metadata and ontologies, as a part of the Semantic Web, are considered. We pay special attention to repositories, Web Services and visualization.
