WindowSWF and MMExecute
Keith Peters, Todd Yard · Apress eBooks · 2004
We love this feature. There, we’ve said it, and we’re not ashamed. And by the end of this chapter, we believe you’ll share our feelings for WindowSWF movies. What exactly are they? Really, this feature isn’t anything new with Flash—you’ve had the ability to create custom user interfaces that you could open in the Flash authoring environment for the last couple of versions. What is new, however, is the ability to use these movies to make changes and interact with the application via the JavaScript API. This unlocks so many possibilities for new tools and enhancements that it’s truly staggering.
