In this chapter, you’re going to be having a tour of some of the more popular version control clients. I’ll go through how to use them and why they’re awesome. I’m following the same order as in the previous chapter, starting with SVN and then breaking it down by operating system. After that, I’ll do the same with Mercurial and finally Git. This chapter helps cement the theory I’ve been talking about so far and gets you into the programs, or may even convert you from one program to another. Let’s get started.
