Modeling demographic and health survey (DHS) data by latent class models: an application
José G. Dias · International Conference on Mathematical and Computational Methods in Science and Engineering · 2010
This paper models a battery of indicators using a latent class model. DHS (Demographic and Health Survey) data from Mozambique measuring the sources of information on how to avoid HIV/AIDS transmission are considered. The clustering of the women's sample shows four clusters with different profiles. A set of variables is used to describe these segments.
