In addition to 3D map layouts, textures androute finding features, such applications can also provideaccess to location-specific services (e.g. restaurants andtheir ”menu-of-the-day”). The challenge that those mobile3D applications have to face is how to efficiently provideup-to-datelocation-specificdata and services. Based on theTellMaris and Robocop projects this paper addresses theseissues and provides a solution that is based on dynamicallyobtaining the location-specific data and services on user’sdemand.KEY WORDSContext Awareness, Service-Annotated Maps, Mobile Ser-vices, Secure Access
