Flexible Support of Inter-Organizational Business Processes Using Web Services

Inter-organizational business processes which cross multiple organizations need new kinds of flexibility which are not properly supported by existing enactment architectures. Therefore, after analyzing these requirements, a new enactment architecture based on web services is developed. It uses a homogeneous and dynamic composition of so called aspect-element-oriented web services to support inter-organizational business processes.
