EOS Airborne Program for Validation Studies of EOS Data Products

An overview of the NASA EOS (Earth Observing System) Validation Program will be given with special emphasis on synergy of airborne field missions and EOS satellite missions. Presentation will describe objectives of program and recent field campaigns for validation of standard scientific data products from EOS Terra. Airborne simulators developed for Terra validation will also be described. Plans for future field activity and airborne simulators, especially for EOS Aqua validation and also encompassing EOS Aura validation, will also be briefly presented.
