Electronic resources usage by Researchers in the disciplines of Biological sciences at the University of Mysore: A study

The study aimed at finding the factors which are influenced in use of e resources by research scholar and faculty at University of Mysore. 286 questionnairs were distributed among the respondents 262 were received from the department of the faculty and research scholar of biological science. Results show that the response rates relating to accessibility like ease of browsing and browsing speed are between 50-52%. The responses rate for knowledge of library staff and helpfulness of librarians is between 60-70%the study revealed that since technology plays an important role in e-resources usage, university administration should plan upgrade regularly high speed internet connections as well as wireless internet access in selected study areas. Further, library staff should be well trained constantly in order to update their knowledge on new information media.
