Undergraduate AI Research at a Liberal Arts College: A Case Study in Mobile Robotics
Kurt D. Krebsbach, Benjamin H. Willard · 2006
Recent advances in inexpensive hardware and opensource software have transformed mobile robotics into a viable and exciting environment for undergraduate education and research in artificial intelligence. In this paper, we will describe one curricular model for successful independent student research with limited resources, and will demonstrate the results with a case study written by the undergraduate co-author himself.
