Operating system and memory switch for the S-1 computer

During this period the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory worked on many aspects of the S-1 project. These included: (1) the first architectural manual and various features of the architecture, (2) simulator for PDP-10 on S-1, simulator for YUK-7 on S-1, (3) design and debugging of Pascal compilers and intermediate languages on the S-1, and (4) memory switch for S-1.
