Concurrent Sessions - Organized Chaos: Using Logic Models to Design Student Success Programming
Kelly Gray, Kathleen McLellan, Anna Vargas · ScholarWorks@UMassAmherst (University of Massachusetts Amherst) · 2012
Planning intentional programming in a diverse educational setting is an arduous task. However, with the use of logic models and a constant cycle of evaluation, programming not only proves to be more effective in promoting student success, but also helps provide programmers with an organized outline of key aspects of a program. This presentation is aimed at providing campus programmers with a better understanding of how to utilize logic models in their programming process to identify program assumptions, inputs, activities, outputs, outcomes, and overall impact. Join us as we help make seemingly chaotic process, organized.
