A Modular Architecture for Optimization Tutorials

Treatment of algorithms in teaching requires practical experience of the students. This is true in particular when working with optimization algorithms. Here Computer-Based Instruction can be established by means of appropriate software. We propose a system with modular architecture for such software. This approach leads to tools which make it relatively easy to set up teaching software.
