Multicarrier WCDMA Feasibility

The goal of this application note is to determine the feasibility of implementing a multicarrier 3G transceiver and what the major subsystem performances must be. GENERALIZED BLOCK DIAGRAM The block diagram in Figure 1 is the general block diagram used in this document. While there are many variations of this design, the key focus is on this architecture. This architecture represents a flexible ra dio platform that can easily be used to implement a wide variety of air standards including WCDMA, CDMA2000, and TD-SCDMA.
