Modeling An Air Percussion For Composition And Performance

This paper presents a project involving a percussionist playing on a virtual percussion. Both artistic and technical aspects of the project are developed. Especially, a method forstrike recognition using the Flock of Birds is presented, aswell as its use for artistic purpose.
