Formulas are derived combining tbe integral count velocity and the mean frequency of incomim; pnises for four types of analyzers using periodic momory devices. The formulas permit the determination of the count losses and the rational selection of incoming pulse frequencies in relation to the type of entrance used in the analyzer. (tr-auth)
