Sixteen channel amplifier with automatic input circuit testing

A 16 channel current amplifier is constructed in a unit width CAMAC module. A unique feature of the circuit is the capability of testing the input circuits used, including coupling cables and the generators which produce the currents measured. In the test mode, it is possible to measure R /SUB in/ from 50 k to 2.5 G and C /SUB in/ from 25 pF to 100 nF. A schematic diagram of the amplifier channel and test circuit is given.
