A Study on Feature Checking Theory

1.Introduction The morphological properties of words can be characterized in terms of sets of grammatical features:head-features(which determine their intrinsic grammatical properties),specifier-features(which determine the kinds of specifier which they allow)and complement-features(which determine the kinds of complement they can take),and features must be checked in an appropriate manner.This paper mainly focuses on a brief introduction to the concept of checking.
