Hybrid Fuzzy Neural Nets

As in Chapter 5 we will first discuss the structure of hybrid fuzzy neural nets ( HFNN s) and then present some applications. The main application we are interested in, in this chapter, is that there is a type of HFNN which is a universal approximator for continuous fuzzy functions. Constructing HFNN s to be identical to a fuzzy expert system, or a fuzzy input-output controller, etc. is in the next chapter.
