The Network Provider Interworking Paradigm

Monique Calisti · Birkhäuser Basel eBooks · 2003

The Network Provider Interworking (NPI) approach provides a set of procedures to achieve automated connectivity across several domains independently of the underlying network technology. On top of this network-to-network coordination layer, it is possible to build mechanisms to automate and improve the way users and providers interact. While user-to-provider interactions are discussed in Chapter 5, in this chapter the focus is on peer providers coordination. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
