Comparison of parallel and random approach to a candidate list in the multifeature querying
Peter Gurský · DATESO · 2005
In the field of the multifeature querying it is possible to use many heuristics to retrieve top k objects to became low number of accesses to the sources. When the sources have many equal values, it is often hard to choose which source should be accessed next. In this paper we compare previous random approach with the parallel approach to the set of actual candidate sources.
