A family of classes of functions closed with respect to a strengthened superposition operation

The paper concerns the operation of binary superposition determined for the k-valued logic functions (k = 2 m , m ≥ 2) on the basis of their representation in the binary number system. A description of the set of classes containing only functions taking not more than two values and closed under the operations of binary superposition and addition of fictitious variables is given.
