Multipath Concurrent Transfer Algorithm for Video in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

Considering the special requirements of video and other multimedia services and the limitations of concurrent multi path transfer in Ad Hoc networks, this paper proposed a Multi path Concurrent Transfer (MCT) algorithm for video. The algorithm distributed video data to multiple paths for concurrent transmission and allocated them to special path according to multi path delay and packet sending rate. Making a performance comparison and analysis among SPF (Shortest Path First), SSPF (Selective Shortest Path First) and Heuristic multi path routing protocol by computer simulation, the effectiveness of our method is demonstrated.
