Abstract. In this paper, we describe work in progress to further develop methods from knowledge-intensive Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) in general and the Creek system in particular to address the requirements of Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS). ITS systems are often required to solve problems in the domain, but unlike decision support systems, the ability to communicate the process of solving the problem to the student, is as important as finding the right solution. 1
