What is 3D really? A 2-dimensional object has height and width; the third dimension is depth. While we can’t truly create depth in Photoshop or any other flat medium, we can create the illusion of the third dimension. In this chapter and the next, we’ll look at how to become a magician and create the illusion of depth using the tools in Photoshop. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
