this paper, the influences of such non-linearity and network topology on network performances are studied (see Figures 1 & 2). The three common classes of speech degradation, namely non-linear degradation introduced by CELP, additive noise including GWN (Gaussian white noise) and two real-world noises, and linear system degradation are considered. In addition, we also investigate whether or not the enhancer characteristics depend on the class of degradation.
