Musical Information Retrieval Based on Bayesian Decision

Musical information retrieval is one of the hot issues in information retrieval field. In this paper, we design and implement a musical information retrieval system by humming based on Bayesian decision. This system uses musical cent as its query feature, and adopts Bayesian decision as the key retrieval algorithm after data mining and processing. The experimental results show that the musical information retrieval system has good performance, and songs can be retrieved by humming on the spot.
