Use Issue Management to Choose the Best of Bad Alternatives

Tom Mochal, Jeff Mochal · Apress eBooks · 2011

Issues are major problems that impede the progress of a project. They are different from normal problems because they can’t be resolved without outside help. Usually, when problems arise on a project, there are some alternatives that will resolve the problem or help you to implement a workaround. In many cases, a number of viable solutions are available—you just need to find the best one. Sometimes the resolution will end up costing money and time. Sometimes a solution doesn’t cost anything but the time you spend resolving it. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
