Identification of Critical Issues for Requirement Engineering Based on Software Project Components in Organisation

This finding is a part of our research in developing requirement best practices. It is mainly for the organization, which wants to apply requirement engineering (RE) process in their software project development. The development team who are responsibility of gathering the requirement should understand in depth about the RE process. The new RE Process model for the Public Sector is defined. This RE Model implement by the actor identified. We determine appropriate components for the organization. There are seven components that really contribute in the development of software projects particularly in Malaysia's Public Sector. The critical issues identified mainly for developing best practice for software projects requirement in software project development.
