Analysis of maize drought resistance at seeding stage by fuzzy subordination method.

Different concentrations of polyethylene glycol(PEG) were chosen to simulate different degrees of drought in which maize seeding stage might encounter.Three coefficients,POD activity,SOD activity,MDA content,Proline content which relate to degree damage of cell membrane were measured.The drought resistance was evaluated by fuzzy subordination method.The results showed that fuzzy subordination method could analysis the drought resistance completely and avoid the shortage of single index.The evaluate result was approximate by using fuzzy subordination value and immediate evaluation.The fuzzy subordination value can be use to evaluate the drought-resistance immediately.
